How to transfer music from your iPod to your Computer

Getting Started:
-Ensure that your iPod is in "disc mode".
-Be sure you are a logged in as an administrator on your computer.
-These instructions are tailored for Windows Users, and the iPodxs Team only supports Windows Installations.

 

Using CopyToy

1) Go to www.copytoy.com and download the file to your desktop.
2) Install Copytoy to your computer, this will allow you to export the music on your ipod to your computer.
3) Plug in your iPod.
4) Run the program, wait for it to scan and find your iPod.
5) Select the music you would like to export, and choose a destination for the music from your iPod to go.
6) Click export now, and wait for the process to finish.

     NOTE: The version of copytoy that you will be downloading is a free standard version. Std can only copy files one by one manually, and you will be asked to Upgrade to Pro each time, Std can't sync playlists back to iTunes either this will have to be done manually.
